Oh how wonderful it is!

I apologize that I wasn’t able to post a new blog yesterday, things just got a little hectic as they sometimes do around here.

So back to my story….

Our visit ended with that kiss because I had to head to work, but boy did I have some good day-dreams. From then on him and I started to spend more and more time together. He would always catch a city transit to see me or take a cab to my place. And then oneday something odd had happened. His newly purchased car was in the shop so they had given him a loner one to drive. So that day he drove me to work. Well being in a rush I managed to drop my wallet in the car. During break time I called him in a panic thinking either I dropped it or someone stole it from me. His response was “Oh no, well I will have to check in a little bit.” Of course I couldn’t wait for a little bit, I wanted to know now and I didn’t understand why he couldn’t just step outside and check. He then informed me that he didn’t have the car, he had lent it to a friend and that he would call then later to find out. Now his next statement caught me off guard when he said “So now if someone calls you and starts asking questions, tell them that its none of their business and they already know.” I didn’t quite understand and started asking what he meant, and with a booming voice he says “Why are you asking questions for? This is what I’m telling you to say.” And that was that, I didn’t say anything else. I was upset after that, I knew what that meant….he was seeing someone else. I wanted to end things after that but I didn’t. My wallet was never found. A few days later, he was over at my place and we were watching TV and there was a kknock at my door. We were both surprised and said not to answer, but of course I had to look out the peep hole to see who it was. To my surprise there was this girl standing there banging on the door, hollering “I know you are in there, I saw your car outside. Open the door right now or I’m going to take back my liscense plates!” I was in awe, I couldn’t believe the nerve of this girl standing outside my door screaming all this for my neighbors to hear. Eventually she did leave, and he story was that she found the wallet and was coming to return it to me and then saw his car and got mad. Again I never did get my wallet, she threw it in a dumpster on the way out.

For some reason, I got over it and still stayed with him. And eventually after a few months we ended up getting an apartment together. He insisted that he wasn’t living there with me, however he was there every day and every night. His clothes were there, and his personal hygiene items too.  We even bought furniture together. We were inseperatable. When he wasn’t around, I always knew where he was because he would always call and tell me. Our first New years and Valentines’ day together he spoiled me. We got dressed up to the max, rented a limo, had an expensive dinner and then headed out to the club. You know things are good when you can be in a club filled with people and the only thing that matters is the two of you…just wonderful.

The sweetest things he would do for me. Cards for all occassions and sometimes none at all. I recall this one card he bought for me while I was out of town. On the front was a picture and a young boy and girl kissing, and on the inside it said “I miss the ‘U’ in us”.

I was infatuated with him, however my parents felt differently. Aside from the fact that he was 16 yrs. older than me they just felt he was up to no good especially after that first incident.  Of course their opinions were just that, opinions. We argued over it a great deal, but in the end they learned that they were not going to change my mind no matter what.

So now that everything was going good, there was still something that was a bit odd. He would always say to me, “You can see who ever you like, if you want to. Just be sure to tell me.” And then there was the other comment that he made one time about how he was cutting down on the people he was seeing, I always blew that one off because I knew he wasn’t seeing anyone else. After all we spent every minute together…..
